World Class Music with a World of Care

Welcome to GingerSnapMusik. Why GingerSnap? It’s a nod to my red hair! Although GingerSnap cookies are pretty awesome too. Why Musik with a K? Two things, part of my family heritage is German. The Germans would have spelled it with a K, and if I spelled it that way I could get ALL of my email, website and social media to match.

GingerSnapMusik is me, Andrea Kennedy. I am a professional musician. I have been performing since I was a teenager, roughly 37 years ago. I have two music degrees, one in music education and one in church music.

GingerSnapMusik’s mission is to bring world class musicianship and world class care together, no matter what the event. Whether I am performing for a church event, as dinner music, in a pit orchestra, coaching a singer, playing for worship or entertaining seniors in a retirement community, you will know I have poured myself into what we have shared in that time.

There is a lot to be discovered here. There will be links to my regular Music Monday posting on social media. I’ll share some thoughts about life as a musician in the Midwest.
